I was contacted recently by a photographer called Harry Brayne. I don’t normally meet up with people that contact me out of the blue, by Harry lived locally and writes a good e mail. Harry is looking to expand his interiors photography portfolio and I really like the atmosphere and texture within his work. We met at a local coffee shop to discuss how we might work together and I have the bright idea of Harry updating my profile images for the Engaging Interiors website.

Harry’s style works well with what I wanted for the Engaging Interiors website. I use white text on some of my images so the dark tones will make a good back drop. The amount of technical equipment Harry brought to the shoot was next level, he uses a laptop to manipulate the camera in realtime to adjust the scene to his will.
Below are some of Harry’s Portrait shots. They have a lovely lustre to them which ages them instantly.

Harry’s interiors photographs have a similar style to the portraits. I think this is a good thing. His work is a study of light and texture and how the two dance around one another.

This final image is a landscape photograph which I love. It looks like it has been knitted together.
