This is the second site I have designed for this client and the second site I have built in Leaden Hall Market with them. The site is spread across 3 units on many floors (I am still not sure how many floors there are in total) and a big part of making the site work came from reunited the dividing spaces.

After the success of Boom Bap Burger I was asked to design a new larger site that is best described as a distant cousin of the previous site. Both sites are focused on serving red meat along with a fully licensed offering of drinks.

There are some lovely features within the Leaden Hall Market spaces and these units had a glorious array of windows alongside a double height space and listed elements like butchers hanging rails. The mezzanine lends itself to more private dining style spaces and the smaller unit was a perfect fit for the bar. I decided to subdue the space with a colour we had never used before that is best described as a browny green colour. This was matched with a dark tan upholstery finish and a bright orange bar finish to lift things a little.

As the site was originally designed as 3 units we used an arch of globe pendants to bring everything together. These were matched with ribbed glass pendants set into the windows to catch the attention of passers by.

The food looks amazing and I can highly recommend eating there, you may have to book as it is getting rather popular. If you would like help with your next project give us a bell…
