Lounge is a well established boutique in our home town of Lewes. We would not normally be able to work on projects this size unless they are geographically very close, but were happy to take on this project as it was so local.
Our brief was to improve the layout and ambience of the shop. The client felt that the existing layout didn’t flow properly, and that customers weren’t able to access certain rails due to the position of the cash desk. Our challenge was to solve these issues without compromising stock quantities.
The solution? We placed a large haberdashery unit in the middle of the space. This displays expensive items securely, and doubles as a cash desk and wrapping space. It also softens the ambience by providing a wooden centre point that contrasts with the white interior surroundings.
